At Caparison, the pickup is the foundation of our sound. From the very beginning, we recognized that existing options couldn’t fully capture the tonal vision behind our guitars, so we set out to engineer our own. Each design is refined through extensive testing across amplifiers, environments, and recording setups to achieve precise tonal integrity and dynamic response.
Caparison pickups are the culmination of nearly three decades of engineering and refinement, created to deliver clarity, balance, and articulation across a wide range of instruments. Built on a legacy of uncompromising standards, they are voiced to bring out the full character of your playing—offering articulate cleans, rich harmonics, and commanding high gain that adapts seamlessly to any style. Offered in two mounting options, our humbuckers provide flexible installation without compromising tone: a standard two-point mount base plate (2S) for broad compatibility, and the original three-point mount (3S) for seamless integration with Caparison guitars.

Caparison PH-R
The Caparison PH-R features a three-magnet ”anisotropic" construction, giving you massive output without compromising any of the tone.
This arrangement of magnets, with one positioned centrally and additional magnets either side of the bobbin, contributes to a powerful sound profile rich in harmonics and sustain, particularly in the mid-low frequencies, but still retaining clear separation and presence. Compatible with both tremolo and fixed bridge.

Caparison PH-F
The ideal companion to the PH-R, the Caparison PH-F features a three-magnet ”anisotropic" construction, giving you massive ammounts of output without compromising any of the tone.
This arrangement of magnets, with one positioned centrally and additional ones on either side of the bobbin, contributes to a dark and brooding sound profile rich in harmonics and sustain - particularly in the mid-low frequencies, also making it ideal for heavy down-tuning with thicker strings.

Caparison PH-bc
The PH-bc is a powerful, high output bridge pickup that features a tight and focused range, rich harmonics, and long natural sustain.
The bass is clear and defined and the bell like high end can cut through the mix without ever becoming shrill or brittle. The note separation is exemplary with excellent volume control dynamics. Compatible with both tremolo and fixed bridge.

Caparison PH-nc
The PH-bn is a powerful, high output neck pickup that features a tight and clear low end with a well defined and focused upper mid-range, featuring rich harmonics, and long natural sustain.

Caparison SH-27-FC
The SH-27F was developed specifically for 27-fret guitars.
As an extended 27 fret neck places the pickup closer to a traditional centre pickup position - significantly altering the tone - the SH-27F was carefully developed to provide a superb, warm fat and throaty tone more associated with that of a neck pickup.

Caparison SH-NC
The SH-NC is a single-sized high output humbucking pickup specifically designed for the neck and middle positions of 24-fret guitars.
Powerful, rich, responsive and harmonicaly articulate, the SH-NC is the perfect complement to any hot-wired bridge pickup.

Caparison VS-1
A vintage voiced single coil pickup, the VS-1 has a warm vintage tone and gritty dynamic response that will respond to every subtle nuance of your playing.
Copper foil is wrapped around the outside of the coil to help reduce unwanted noise.

Caparison VS-IA
VS-IA is a hotter version of the VS-I pickup, offering a little more output, drive and presence, while still keeping the chime and dynamic response of a classic single coil.
