The Dellinger7 FX-M3 features our Mahogany-Maple-Mahogany composite body construction.. The result is a more focused low end frequency response.
In addition to the two sponge finishes (SnowStorm/BlackRose) the headstock features white binding. The sponge finish is applied by hand so each production model is visually unique.
The original Caparison Dellinger7 was developed at the request of guitarist Nils Norberg (Ex-Nocturnal Rights). The Dellinger7 FX was the first evolution to feature the Caparison Design fixed bridge, designed to accommodate the heaviest of string gauges.
To ensure the strength and stability of the Maple neck with the added stress of a 7-string configuration, the Dellinger7 FX-M3 neck features a 5-piece construction incorporating two narrow Walnut sections. A Graph Tech Black TUSQ nut is fitted for tuning stability.
About M3 Construction
The M3 construction consists of a central Maple section sandwiched between two Mahogany sides with the neck bolted directly to the Maple section. The result is a balanced sound with focused low frequencies and rich sustain.
The Caparison Dellinger7 FX-M3 features Caparison's own design high output PH7-n and PH7-b pickups controlled by a simple 3-Way selector switch and single master volume control configuration.
For the guitarist who requires greater control and a wide range of tonal possibilities the Dellinger7 FX-M3 can be specified to include the versatile ‘Option Control’ modification. For further information please click here.
